Dhruv Shikhar Baweja is an orphan who formerly worked at Purshottam’s Dhaba. He became a businessman after a few years and fell in love with Aanya Mehra, whom he met during the launch of his virtual reality software. They quickly become friends and meet on a regular basis. He discovers that she want to marry a man who has a loving family and an adopted dog. Her parents, Anand and Yamini Mehra, perished in a theatre fire when she was seven years old, and she now lives with her aunt and uncle. He unsuccessfully attempted to locate false parents for Anya with the assistance of his closest buddy Shunty and Shaadiram. He then remembered Purshottam, who had moved to an old age facility in another city, and started looking for him.

Rajkummar Rao, who has quickly established himself as a major actor, gives yet another sincere performance that demonstrates why he is more than just a box office draw. Kriti Sanon is a strong performer who does justice to her role as Anya.
