Article 15 Movie Storyline
Two Dalit girls are detained in a school bus by several guys in the hamlet of Laalgaon. Officers Brahmadatt Singh and Kisan Jatav enthusiastically welcome Ayan Ranjan, a St. Stephen’s College graduate and an Indian Police Service officer, to Laalgaon as the Additional Officer in Charge. As soon as he gets in the hamlet, Ayan confronts numerous sorts of caste prejudice, and he calls his wife, Aditi, to tell what he sees. Local villagers approach Ayan’s reception and request that the cops locate the missing girls, but they are denied. Ayan reunites with his college mate Satyendra Rai, who works for the state government and acts suspiciously all night.
The girls are discovered hanging from a tree the following morning, while a third girl, Pooja, is reported missing. Brahmadatt is given directions by Ayan to register a FIR and collect an autopsy report for the females who have died.

The picture has a lot of ambience, which is enhanced by the excellent photography and background soundtrack. The atmosphere is bleak, gritty, and dark, with a distinct sense of change in the air. Some of the photographs are particularly controversial and unsettling, such as the one in which a guy descends down into a sewer to unblock it and emerges drenched in filth, or the top shot of a group of police officers searching a marsh with their torchlights. The conversations have an effect. And, via his characters and environment, the filmmaker pulls forth subtle subtleties that contribute to the narrative’s core. The plot of the film, which is interlaced with dramatic and heartbreaking moments, gives you goosebumps.
