Jost has been a writer on the staff of NBC’s sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live since 2005, and since 2014 he co-hosts Weekend Update. • After graduating, Jost worked as a reporter and editor for the Staten Island Advance. He was then hired as a writer for the short-lived Nickelodeon animated series, Kappa Mikey.
