The online series centres on Jennifer Matthew and her television production team, who are temporarily residing at a home to film a reality TV programme. However, things change when they learn that a ghost is haunting the home and that they are trapped in paranormal activity. The program’s structure is a parody of the divisive Tamil talk show Solvathellam Unmai, in which regular people discuss private family concerns. Dark Tales, however, encourages readers to share their own close encounters with the uncanny. The execution of a few twists here and there looks fantastic. The show contains excellent camerawork and Premji’s music composition. In the show’s first act, the scary sequences are effective. The early sequences are handled brilliantly by Venkat Prabhu.
Few people are aware that Venkat Prabhu originally intended to turn this series into a movie. However, he fails miserably when given enough time to create it as a series. The information is stale and lacking in freshness. Because Kajal is such a fantastic actress, he does not rely on excellent sequences to make the programme entertaining to watch. Instead, he adds dull sequences, flat emotions, and a lot of situations that are repeated throughout the play.
