• Luft made her show business debut at the age of 11, singing “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” in the 1963 Christmas episode of Garland’s CBS television series The Judy Garland Show.
• Garland sang Ayr’s song “Lorna” on episode 20 of The Judy Garland Show in 1964.An original song written especially for Luft by Mort Lindsay and Johnny Mercer at Garland’s request. The song was later featured on his 2006 Garland compilation Great Day!
• Luft soon joined the family on a summer concert tour, culminating in Garland’s third and final performance at New York’s famous Palace Theater on Broadway in 1967, two years before her mother’s death.
• In their month-long engagement, Garland “split the bills” with Luft, then 14, and Joey, 12. The show was recorded live and released on ABC Records as Judy Garland at Home at the Palace.[4] Luft made her Broadway debut in 1971 at the Shubert Theatre as a replacement cast member in the musical Promises, Promises, adapted from the classic 1960 Billy Wilder film The Apartment.

• In 1996, Luft performed with Mary Miller, Alex Sharp, Christine Scully, Aidan Conway, Enda Markey, Dave Willetts and Millicent Martin at the Follies’ Irish tour in Dublin.
