Marzi Web Series Storyline
The plot is set in Shimla’s scenic surroundings, where Sameera Chauhan, a vivacious school teacher, is prepared to try love once again after a contentious separation with her fiancé Nitin. She decides to go out to dinner with the respectable and attractive surgeon Anurag Saraswat, but the evening quickly turns into a nightmare for her. When Sameera awakens, she discovers that she has been sexually raped and is certain that Anurag is to blame.
Marzi Web Series Release and OTT Response
Voot began airing the six-episode series on March 3, 2020. Although the director works hard to give it a boost with the somewhat rational approach and the competent performances from his key actors, the uninspired screenplay is a significant downer. The characters’ one-dimensional motivations and narrow focus are the issue, however.

Marzi Web Series Review
The adulterous affair between the protagonist’s sister and her ex amounts to nothing in the programme, but there are pointless subplots that take the audience’s attention away from the main problem. Despite being effectively handled, the adolescent pregnancy subplot is packed into the narrative without any impact. The concept of a female police officer being the victim of a serial rapist doesn’t give the programme enough emotional punch. The show frequently concentrates on the perpetrator’s method of operation, which serves little function other than to squander valuable screen time.
Aahana Kumra puts on a good show as a fiery instructor, but a little more control may have enhanced the poignancy and sincerity of her portrayal. The depiction of a policeman by Pavleen Gujral avoids becoming a stereotype and is full of poise and internalised hostility.
