The Innocent Man

“The Innocent Man” is a 2012 South Korean melodrama starring Song Joong-ki, Moon Chae-won, and Park Si-yeon, known on Netflix as “Nice Guy.” This dark and emotionally intense series aired on KBS2 for 20 episodes from September to November 2012, becoming a ratings powerhouse that dominated its timeslot for eight consecutive weeks. The Innocent Man Review

“The Innocent Man” captivates through Song Joong-ki’s powerful performance as a beautifully broken antihero. The intense melodrama keeps you hooked despite occasional logic gaps and a somewhat rushed ending. While the pacing drags mid-series and some characters frustrate, the emotional complexity and dark romance make it compellingly addictive for those who embrace heightened drama.
