Storyline

The plot centres on Saloni, a dark-skinned woman who goes out to show that skin colour is irrelevant. She marries Nahar and embarks on a quest to complete the seven rounds of her marriage. Saloni is confronted with a slew of issues, the most serious of which being prejudice based on her skin colour. She is brilliant, though, and starts off on a mission to find her own identity. In the framework of seven rounds a couple takes during their wedding, the series is named Saat Phere. This is Saloni’s storey, and after a generational jump, her daughter Savri suffers many challenges as well. In the end, Saloni is reunited with her family, and her daughters marry.
