Sooryavanshi is a 2021 Indian Hindi language action drama film directed by Rohit Shetty. It is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and, Rohit Shetty under the banners of Reliance Entertainment Rohit Shetty Picturez Dharma Productions Cape of Good Films. The film star Akshay Kumar, and, Katrina Kaif are in title roles. The music was composed by Amar Mohile S. Thaman.

Sooryavanshi Movie Storyline

The film begins with the murder of DCP and ATS head Veer “Surya” Sooryavanshi’s parents, and continues with his discovery that Lashkar commander and criminal Omar Hafeez is plotting further similar assaults. After the attacks, he organised a sleeper cell ring of 40 terrorists posing as Indians with the goal of carrying out future explosions, one of them is his son Riyaz Hafeez.  Surya’s senior Kabir Shroff claims that a complete tonne of Explosives was delivered to India.

Surya was injured by a gunshot 9 years ago, and Ria healed him. They fell in love, were wedded, and had a son named Aryan. Surya attempted to apprehend a guy in Ria and Aryan’s sight 8 years later, which resulted in Aryan being shot. Despite the fact that he was unharmed, an enraged Ria slapped Surya and informed him that he couldn’t sacrifice his family to achieve his mission, and she walked away. She then intends to take Aryan to Australia with her.

Sooryavanshi Movie Review

The film’s bridge narrative focuses on the theme of vengeance. The action is daring and thrilling, yet the plot itself is safe. The pursuit scenario involving Veer and John through Bangkok’s downtown is a feast for the eyes. It doesn’t matter if it looks like Carrie-Anne Moss’s bike incident with the keymaker from The Empire Strikes back. In the same way that Ajay Devgn’s response pattern was influenced by MI.

The action is top-notch, the comments are funny, and the fast-paced storey never drags. With grey beards and crews, Akshay executes a series of whistle-inducing antics, and his acting talent has really not changed. The consciousness gags that reminded him of his age were always on point.

Singham and Simba add strength and mirth to the conclusion, while a strong supporting cast fills in the gaps until then. Kumud Mishra helps us sympathize with Bilal Khan’s troubles, while Gulshan Grover excels as the villainous Usmani.  But it’s Katrina who steals the show in what seems to be a conventional two-song, multiple part. It’ll go down as a great as among her finest up a potential.
