Delhi Crime Web Series Storyline

Two people were discovered on the side of the road as victims of a heinous crime. DCP Vartika Chaturvedi discovers departmental failures as the inquiry unfolds. She assembles a squad of her most capable officers to investigate the incident and apprehend the criminals as quickly as possible. The investigation team concentrates on the bus where the crime was perpetrated as more leads come in. They’ve found their first criminal when they discover the bus. Backlash against cops is sparked by media disclosures. On the bus, the squad discovers blood. Jai Singh, the bus driver, admits to the act and describes it in graphic detail. Another group travels to Mehrauli in search of Jai Singh’s younger brother. Those hoping for an understanding of the Delhi Police’s structural faults will be disappointed by the show’s unashamed defensiveness in portraying the department. Certain sequences seemed to me to be nothing more than concessions, inserted in return for the force’s cooperation and openness.
