• Although he entered his sophomore year of high school at just 5’9″, Strus had a late growth spurt and was 6’5″ by the end of high school. This physical transformation completely changed his basketball trajectory and allowed him to develop into an NBA-caliber wing player.
• As a sophomore at Lewis University, Strus broke the program’s single-game scoring record when he poured in a career-high 52 points against Northwood on November 24. He was named NABC All-American at the Division II level before transferring to DePaul.
