Street Dancer 3D is a 2021 Indian Hindi language dance musical film directed by Remo D’Souza. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Lizelle D’Souza under the banners of T-Series Remo D’Souza Entertainment. The film star Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Prabhu Deva, Nora Fatehi are in title roles. The music was composed by Sachin–Jigar, Tanishk Bagchi, Badshah, Guru Randhawa, Gurinder Seagal, Harsh Upadhyay.

Originally scheduled as a sequel to Disney’s ABCD 2 (2015), the film was renamed to its present title when Bhushan Kumar took over as producer after Disney’s withdrawal from Indian film production. Filming began in Punjab in February 2019, then relocated to London and was completed in July 2019. In India, the film was released in theatres on January 24, 2020, to mixed reviews.

Street Dancer 3D Movie Storyline

Inder Singh Narula is a dancer who heads the Street Dancer dance company. Inder is initially seen dancing at the Ground Zero Battle with his brother Sahej Singh Narula cheering him on, but he injured at least his leg while attempting a flip trick. He is recuperating after two years, but he is unable to dance. Sahej resurrects Street Dancer and transforms it into a studio with funds from sources he is unwilling to share. Poddy is a good friend of Sahej’s, as are D and Sushi, who are all members of Street Dancer.

They come meet Inayat Naazi, a Pakistani dancer, and her group, the Rule Breakers, while touring the Street Dancer team around the dance facility. Sahej and Inayat were always at odds with one another and have a dancing fight going on. Street Dancer was defeated by the Rule Breakers, who humiliated Sahej in the process. Zain, Inayat’s cousin, drives her home. Their family is devout, and Inayat distorts the truth from them by lying about her dancing.

Street Dancer 3D Movie Review

Without a question, the film is a stylistic flair. Lights, sound editing, great dance performances, and 3D VFX all contribute to an amazing viewing experience. There are a few jaw-dropping manoeuvres and flips, as well as world-class dance performances, and it’s impressive to watch the filmmaker explore so many different dance genres in one film. Varun and Shraddha, the starring performers, would have needed a lot of rehearsal to get those dances correct. And if they don’t stand out, they at least equal the ballet dancers beside it.

‘Street Dancer 3D’ has a powerful message to convey to its viewers  one of love in the midst of a crisis, sympathy for all those we recognize as well as those we don’t, and a focus on relationship above personal gain but it fails to weave it into a structured visual weave. See it for the love of dance alone, if not for the tale. Also, be ready to dance and flow.
