Venom: Let There Be Carnage Movie Storyline
In 1996, a young Cletus Kasady stands powerless as his girlfriend, Frances Barrison, is transported to the Ravencroft Institute from St. Estes Home for Unwanted Children. On the way, Barrison attacks young police officer Patrick Mulligan with her sonic scream abilities. Mulligan accidentally shoots Barrison in the eye, and his ear is injured as a result of her scream. Barrison is still transferred to Ravencroft, where her talents are restrained, unknowing to Mulligan, who thinks he murdered her.
Mulligan is now a detective, and he requests journalist Eddie Brock to meet with serial murderer Kasady at San Quentin State Prison, since Kasady would only speak to Brock. Following the visit, Brock’s extraterrestrial symbiote Venom surmises where Kasady has buried the remains of his captives, giving Brock a major boost in his career. Brock is then called by his ex-fiancée Anne Weying, who informs him that she is now engaged to Dr. Dan Lewis, much to the chagrin of Venom.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage Movie Review
Venom: Let There Be Carnage begins up directly just after end of the past chapter, with Eddie now attempting to live a normal life while frequently clashing with Venom. Despite the fact that the superhero film is only one and half hours long. During a confrontation with serial murderer Cletus Kasady, who is sentenced to death on Eddie’s request, things start going for the worst.
In this second underwhelming picture starring Hardy as reporter Eddie Brock-turned-alien Venom, the plot is essentially secondary. Apart from the first half, there are some efforts at humour, but even Hardy doesn’t appear amused enough to crack a smile. He has an unshaven, filthy, even detached appearance, which does not bode well in a movie that asks us to find room for it in the Marvel Movies.
