Ghoul Web Series Storyline
Nida Rahim is a recently commissioned military officer who is extremely committed to the authoritarian rule and is willing to go to any length to demonstrate her trust in the present system in order to purify society for a brighter future. She is assigned to Ali Saeed, the most feared terrorist recently caught and brought in for questioning, at a clandestine military prison facility. He, on the other hand, turns the tables on his interrogators, revealing their most heinous secrets. Rahim comes to the idea that Ali Saeed is possessed by a supernatural force and is not from this earth.
Dacunha’s whole team attempts to get Saeed to talk, but he remains silent. Nida is unable to strike Saeed and hears him refer to her as ‘Nidu,’ a nickname her father used to affectionately refer to her. During a break, everyone at the institution experiences enraged nightmares in which they are reminded of their previous wrongdoings. In her dream, Nida shoots her father, who appears deformed and tells her that the price of wrongdoings must be paid. Nida and two other veterans, Chaudhari and Gupta, attempt to break Saeed once the questioning commences. When the CCTV cameras and microphones stop working, Saeed confronts Chaudhari and Gupta and asks who planned to murder the Lady and her kid.
Ghoul Web Series Release and OTT Response
Netflix broadcast the miniseries on August 24, 2018. They promoted by spray-painting a ghoul emblem on existing Sacred Games banners in India. The series premiered in Mumbai on August 22, 2018. Graham came up with the idea for the miniseries after having a dream. Originally slated to be the first of three films in a three-film contract, Netflix picked up the project in February 2018 when Graham decided that a lengthier format would be preferable and had it transformed into a miniseries. Ghoul received mostly excellent reviews from reviewers, who praised the actors and plot.

At a secret military jail facility, she is assigned to Ali Saeed, the world’s most wanted terrorist who was just apprehended and brought in for questioning. He, on the other hand, confronts his interrogators and exposes their most horrible secrets. Ali Saeed, Rahim believes, is possessed by a spiritual power and is not of this world. Ghoul does leave us with a few unanswered questions as the narrative unfolds, but it’s not always a good idea to ask questions when watching a horror show. The rules are flexible, as we may see when the idea of Ghoul is introduced.
